GETTING TO VANGUARD THEATER:

Directions from Major Highways:
From Garden State Parkway (North/South):
Take exit 151 for Watchung Avenue and follow signs for Montclair. Go west on Watchung Avenue, turn left onto Grove Street, then right onto Bloomfield Avenue.
From Route 46:
Take the Grove Street exit and head south to Bloomfield Avenue. Turn right onto Bloomfield Avenue.
For traffic updates, use a GPS app.
Location: VTC is at 180 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042.
Vanguard Theater is just a 2-minute walk from Bay Street Station on the NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line.
After arriving at Bay Street Station, walk northwest on Pine Street, then turn left onto Bloomfield Avenue. Vanguard Theater Company is located at 180 Bloomfield Avenue on the second floor.
Train from New York City:
Take the NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line from New York Penn Station. Bay Street Station is the first stop in Montclair, approximately a 40-minute ride from Penn Station.

There is on-street parking, and parking is also available in the Lackawanna Plaza parking lot behind TD Bank, just up the street. We are grateful to BDP Holdings for allowing our patrons to park there!

Vanguard Theater offers a wide range of specialty cocktails, select wines, and local craft beer for adults as well as delicious snacks, soft pretzels, and treats for all ages. Relax in the lobby pre-show—and put your mid-show order in early to skip the line at intermission.
