Set during the London Blitz of WWII, the story follows Alice Spencer, whose life is upended as she and her friend Alfred take refuge in an underground tube station. When Alfred is quarantined, Alice leads him into the world of their favorite book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Together, they embark on a journey through Wonderland, exploring first love, loss, and the courage to move forward.
