make DREAMS come true

From our youngest Vanguardians to emerging theater professionals, Vanguard Theater provides a comprehensive, year-round education in the arts, fostering both theatrical skills and life lessons in a supportive, inclusive community.

OUR PROGRAMS

  • VTC KIDS (8-14)

For our youngest participants, VTC KIDS encourages creativity, self-expression, and collaboration. Students learn to bring characters and stories to life, increasing focus, imagination, and trust in their peers. VTC KIDS develop skills that extend far beyond the stage, preparing them for the many stages of life.

  • VTC TEENS (13-16)

For teens who love musical theater, DREAM VTC Jr. empowers students to hone their skills and build confidence. Participants audition for specific roles, with the spotlight on the process, culminating in full-scale performances that highlight collaboration and growth.

  • DREAM VTC (Ages 15-19)

DREAM VTC is a professional-level program by audition, designed for aspiring musical theater professionals. Under the guidance of industry professionals, students experience the demanding rigor of a professional production, learning everything from casting to performance. This program provides a launchpad for emerging talents, often attracting the attention of talent agencies.

what is summerstock?

Vanguard Theater’s DREAM Summerstock VTC Intensive is a three-week, transformative theater program for students ages 12-19. Combining top-tier theater training with social and emotional growth, our program nurtures young artists from all backgrounds and provides a supportive community for emerging talent.

“I have never seen such an amazing performance from young adolescents like this before! My son was in this show and I cried! The raw emotions and the talent were just amazing! My son has been a part of other theater arts programs and they’re good BUT nothing compares to Vanguard! I’m excited to see what future shows you have in store.”

“The journey that my child has been on, while in Vanguard Theater Company’s care, has been nothing short of transformational.  You have cultivated a community of souls who intuitively and deeply trust one another.  A community who puts service before self. A community that I am proud to be a part of my child’s life. You have given ME the gift of allowing my child to explore new terrain, to test her comfort zone, to expand her perception of the world and discover what is right, true and just for her.”

At Vanguard Theater, we are committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial means. We offer payment plans and financial assistance on a case-by-case basis to make our programs accessible to as many students as possible.
